From 1892 through 1954, the U.S. Mint produced special commemorative coins for 53 different events, occasions, and individuals. This resulted in the production of over 180 silver and gold commemorative coins during that time period. Offered here is one of the lowest mintage silver half dollars commemorating the 100th Anniversary of Alabama statehood. This commemorative is one of the earliest and most popular issues in the silver commemorative coin series. This is a gem uncirculated coin certified by PCGS.
