In order for traditional VR goggles to work, the screen on the smartphone has to be split down the middle when showing the movie - one screen for each eye. This results in the need for special apps and low resolution movies. MovieMask uses a different optical solution, which means it doesn't split the screen, provides amazing screen resolution, and works with all mobile apps.

Prescription glasses can be worn with the MovieMask.
Do you need to remove a protective case before putting a cellphone into the movie mask?That depends on the size of the phone and protective casing. Thin casings, like leather or silicone work fine with standard models of Apple, Samsung, and Huawei phones, but ticker cases with card holders etc. might not fit.
How do you change what is playing on inserted phone without removing from device?There are several ways to change what is playing.
i) Use the controller on your headset (AUX/Bluetooth)
ii) Use a Bluetooth controller
iii) Open the zipper a little while watching, and change it there
On an airplane/couch/chair with a bit of incline, it's comfortable to watch a movie, Standing / sitting straight works well for a series, but will get a bit heavy for a movie.
What is the battery life?The MovieMask is a mobile-driven device. You put your phone in the mask, and our unique lenses will enlarge the screen, making you feel like you're sitting behind a giant screen. So the battery life is dependent on your phone's battery.
How do you hear the content?You can hear the content from either:
1) Standard AUX headset
2) Bluetooth headset
3) Directly from your phone (through the mask)
You can easily connect it to a Bluetooth controller (Like steelseries) and play 2D-games such as GTA, Fortnite, etc.
I use subtitles; would they seem too up close to the eyes?Since the experience of MovieMask is like sitting in the front row of a
cinema, you can compare it with that.
We personally prefer without subtitles when viewing on MovieMask, but there
are no issues with it.
