The Motiv App will track both steps taken and distance covered in the app.

Does it have to be worn on your left hand?

Feel free to wear your Motiv Ring on either hand. We also recommend you wear your Motiv Ring on your index, middle, or ring finger for the best contact and accuracy.

Are staircases counted?

Staircases are counted in the step count.

How does one know the sizes?

When you order your Motiv Ring from Touch of Modern you will first receive a sizing set that will help you to find your right size. The sizing set will also have a redemption code that you can use on Mymotiv.com to order your Motiv Ring in your size and color preference.

What general range of ring sizes can be accommodated?

Motiv Rings come in sizes 6-12.

Can it detect afib?

No, it cannot detect afib.

Does the ring have a display?

The Motiv Ring has an LED to show when you are syncing, your 3-day memory is full, or you are charging your ring. (red is charging, green is full).

Does this ring monitor blood pressure and oxygen?

Motiv Ring Counts your steps and measures your HR, RHR, Calories but not your blood pressure.

What is the battery life?

The Motiv Ring is designed to last 3 days on a single 90-minute charge. You can charge your Motiv Ring using the included USB charger and plugging it into a laptop, USB cellphone charger, or even most portable battery packs.

Does the ring show notifications?

The Motiv Ring is equipped with a recessed LED to provide information on charging, syncing, or updating of firmware. It does not, however, notify the user of incoming text, calls or appointments.
