Product Description

It is very rare to find a triple digit ending serial number. The note is from the
A – A block. That means it was among the first notes printed in this series. All of this adds up to a great note for your collection.
So, if you want really good luck, this note actually has 4 x 8’s in the serial number.
This note is very hard to source in this condition. This is another example of a high grade note that is 96 YEARS OLD. It looks like it was just printed yesterday.
This was the first small size $ 1 Legal Tender issued in the United States. This note was called the “Funny Back” as it looked like Monopoly money due to the design on the back. (see pictures).
The color just pops off the note. The margins are centered very well, and the ink just pops off the note. The colors are bright and bold. The vibrant colors and well-preserved paper add to its visual eye appeal.
The note will be encased in a long-term preservation holder, ensuring protection, and providing a clear view of both sides. The intricate details of the design, including the finely engraved vignettes and intricate patterns, remain crisp and sharp. The holder is made to enhance the presentation of the encapsulated note and protects against counterfeiting and tampering.
This note is encased and sealed by PMG. Every PMG certified note is backed by the industry leading PMG guarantee, which provides greater protection for both BUYERS AND SELLERS.
