Head of Athena right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet decorated with a vine scroll, Pegasus above filled upturned cheek flap, protomes of four horses above visor / Owl standing right on prostate amphora inscribed I, head facing ATE; Α-ΘΕ / ΠOΛE-MΩN / AΛKE-THΣ / ΛYKI (magistrates), monograms in fields. Coin diameter 27mm (archival slab measures 3.375" x 2.375" x 0.375"). Ref: HGC 4, 1602 for type. Ex New York City private collection.
