The front depicts the head of Herakles facing right, wearing Nemean lion-skin headdress, paws tied before his neck / The back depicts Zeus enthroned with his feet upon a stool, holding eagle & scepter, monogram to left; Greek inscription AΛEΞANΔΡOY (“Of Alexander”) behind. Excellent portrait, nice gray toning. Coin reference: Price 78 for type. Encapsulated and certified by NGC. Coin measures 26mm diameter; archival slab measures 3.125" x 2.125" x 0.375”.
