Launched in 2019, AirUnleashed takes the technical design of the AirPower and radically simplifies it by creating a wireless charging mat that can deliver what Apple originally promised. The AirUnleashed uses three charging coils side-by-side and therefore does not have the challenges of using a large amount of overlapping coils. The result is a wireless charging mat that can simultaneously charge three of your favorite Apple devices; an iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods.

Unbox Therapy said that they “unleashed the thing that Apple was trying to hold back”. Marques Brownlee called it “the closest thing to AirPower."

This wireless charger is compatible with devices with built-in Qi wireless charging, and devices equipped with Qi wireless charging adapters. Qi wireless enabled devices include Apple iPhone 8 & newer, Samsung Galaxy S7 & newer, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 & newer, Google Pixel 3 & newer.

Please Note: The AirUnleashed Wireless Charging Mat requires a QC 2.0 or higher USB wall charger with an output current of minimal 2A at 5V (10W). The default iPhone Adapter has a maximum output of 5W and is therefore not compatible with the AirUnleashed. Use the iPad Adapter or any other third-party charger that has a 2A charging port.

FAQ
Can this charge an iPhone through a protective case?

It really depends on the case you have and what material it is made of.
Those stronger phone cases, that are specially made to protect from accidents and drops, will most likely present themselves as a barrier between the phone and the charger, different than the thinnest ones.

Is it magnetic at the Apple Watch spot?

Yes, it is magnetic, so the watch will stay on the charging coil.

Can I charge 2 iPhones at once?

Yes, that's possible. The right spot on the mat was originally designed for AirPods, but it can also be used for charging a second iPhone.

How quickly does it recharge?

When completely empty, the AirUnleashed requires about 3.5 hours to charge an iPhone from 0 to 100%.

Are any additional charging plugs/cables required to charge 3 devices as shown?

The AirUnleashed only needs a Wall Charger, so it can be plugged in. This needs to be a 2A charging port, for example, an iPad adapter.
