Where do you get fuel cell refills and what is the cost for a fuel cell?

You can also purchase refills from the vendor's website, adamfrank.com for $6 for a two-pack. This product comes with a total of 4 fuel cells though so that should last quite a while.

How large of a projection with the cast? Do you have to replace the fuel cells or can they be refilled?

At 4" away from the wall, the shadow is 18" tall. At 14" away from the wall, the shadow is 60" tall.

The fuel cells cannot be refilled.

Does the system have a timer for turning the light on and off?

This is not a lamp but rather illuminated by a flame.

Can a flameless tea light be used instead of the oil cell and flame and would you still have the same effect?

Possibly, if the dimensions of the flameless tea light suit the cylindrical fuel cell container, and the flameless light is strong enough. We would recommend sticking with the liquid oil cells.
